An old friend of Don Yenko, Ed Lowther, was a big contributor to that museum. Ed owned Sprints for many years and had many of the best known Indy car guys in the 50's and 60's drive his cars. When Bill Smith ran Yenko Performance , he restored several of Ed's cars in the back room in Canonsburg. I have photos . Ed was also my neighbor across the road and is the man who got me involved with road racing before I went to Yenko in Canonsburg.

Al Hamilton (mentioned in the second picture) was my neighbor - great sprint car driver who was killed in a car crash. I flew with his dad, Al Sr., who was killed in a private plane crash in Ohio. Those guys loved speed! Al Jr.s Bricklin is still under a car cover in their barn.
