I bet if Albert gets the car. It will end up with an aluminum motor.

Had I seen this earlier I would had offered to go you. I have owned Mustangs and a few Shelby's over the years and would have been happy to give you a hand.

Congratulations! I would have thought I had died and gone to heaven if I was lucky enough to be able to purchase this.

My dream car has always been a Shelby. (even a nice clone would suit me just fine)

I have been waiting since the first PM to see the pictures and it has been worth the wait...WHAT A FIND! Good for you buddy, the '68 has always been my favorite Shelby. I had a couple '67 GT350's and a '66 GT350H...but never the elusive '68.

Fun find for sure congratulations. Not sure how long it has been tucked away. The car has been painted as evidenced by the fender bolts being body color along with the allen bolts on the cowl and near buck tag. The engine bay has been rattle canned along with radiator support as evidenced by the hardware. The engine has been out as evidenced by the incorrect color it was resprayed. The Blue plates would be 70 and later issue. Not trying to rain on your day just giving you a heads up as you were looking to learn on the way into the deal. I have a 68 GT 350 Hertz car. Just a driver with weak White paint not fast but it is always well received where ever we go. Have fun
