After seeing it fly over the Huntington beach pier on the back of a 747 a couple of weeks ago. My kids made me take them out to Inglewood at 2:00am on Saturday morning to go see the space shuttle in person. She was quite a site to see in the middle of Manchester blvd. a couple of blocks from the Forum.

Awesome! I saw it fly over Santa Cruz while out fishing. Quite the sight to see. I did not know it was scheduled so it was quite a shock. Good call on going to see it in person.

I wonder if they had the doors locked and just rolled through every stop sign without stopping as they drove through the 'Wood that late at night?.

I read somewhere on the net, they had to cut down 400 trees that lined the streets.

My old neighborhood. We had Dino's pizza on Crenshaw blvd, near Century blvd from '58-'74 (near Harry Mann Chevrolet). Learned how to ride my first bicycle in the the Forum parking lot when it was being built. My father would say,"Inglehood was once nice"...I always found that hard to believe.

Was an OK place when I was there in 70 and 71. Rode my bike from Walnut st. to Northrop Institute of Technolgy every day, never had a DUI... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif
