Ls6 Chevelle Gas Cap ?

Working on friend Cortez silver hardtop Baltimore MD March built Ls6 Chevelle .What gas cap is correct #? Vented or not ?

The gas cap would have "Vented Anti Surge" embossed on it and be 2 1/4" diameter approx.

Here is my original gas cap of my LS6 Chevelle.
The sides on the back are notched out beside each tooth.

So whats the difference between the stamped and embossed caps? Early and late cars or what?

I think that stamped version with the little ears could be a replacement, and not what was used in `70 on the line.

The one on my L78 Nova is also embossed...But the tabs are reversed. Were these rivited on either way ?
