I am looking at a chevelle that is an original paint low mileage copo car, but without paperwork, is there any way of telling for sure? The car doesn't have the original motor or trans, but all else is there and it has less than 10,000 original miles. From what I've read, there is no proof without paperwork. Hope I'm not asking dumb questions, but I am mopar guy. thx in advance. A couple of my dad's friends knew the original owner (deceased) and are 100% positive it's legit, but that's all I have to go on. BTW, it's original paint, no rust.

Hi Gary,

Some of the smart guys will chime in or contact you otherwise. Good luck!

I don't want to even give out the color for fear of potentially losing a deal. Too bad I was at the mopar show when you were in town. We could have taken one of the cars for a spin.
