We have been contacted by two major race facilities wanting us to host the SCR during one of their events. So, before we make a final decision, regardless if you race, just show, a sponsor, or just someone wanting to help make the event special, we would like to hear your thoughts. PM or email Rob or I, or post it on here. Thanks in advance for your suggestions, and continued support.

Tom - your PM box is full.

Joliet is a great location for all the Chicago area guys.

In my humble opinion I liked the Reunions at Gateway much better. The track although not as nice as the one at Joliet is a very good one. The Host hotel is much nicer and they are much more accepting of our meet and greet in the parking lot even when a few of us extend the hours into the early morning. Not to mention the go carts.
Either way I will be there.

I agree with Jamie. Gateways hotel ain't got no stinkin parkin lot cameras, and little yellow domed rent a cop cars. Hell you can even "borrow" the pizza delivery guys truck down there.

It may be impossible to regain the comradery we had at Gateway, that may have been the perfect venue for us. To me it was all about the several day's before Friday that made the trip well worth it for me. ( And Friday was fun.. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/3gears.gif) There was lots of time to catch up with some cool friends. That may have been the best part of it all... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

I myself think the "Standard" was set at Gateway and the set-up there fit everyone like a glove......even though Joliet is much closer.......Take it back to Gateway.......Just my $.02

If it were to be at Joliet we would likely attend. Simply due to drive time.
