After watching the videos that Eric posted a link to I read an article elsewhere online about the world's tallest wave on record. Occurred in 1958 in Alaska and was part of a tsunami and caused by an earthquake. It was 1720' high, nearly the same height as the tower.

It was probably alot of work pushing that wheelbarrow full of concrete all over those bluffs. I can visualize a couple of rednecks mixing quickcrete and welding pipe while snacking on Moonpies and RC cola.....
