The Granny Nova was suppose to be in my stable today, but mother nature had another plan, in the form of a snow storm. I really didn't want to drag my trailer thru 12" of snow......so, we'll give it another shot in a couple days. I have big plans for the Nova. I'll start another thread with my plans. Suffice it to say, we will no longer be able to call it "The Granny Nova"......

Give Bill a little time and this car will be something even more special. Stock hood or Stinger?

Pro Touring?
Bill Rose

No SS, no stinger hood. Just the flat unassuming hood that's on it now. No pro touring either Sam. More of a stock/some day 2 stuff, with a healthy big block, M22, and 12 bolt. I love the look of the white rear wheels, with cheater slicks, and that type of stuff. Tom did most of the work, that I'd rather not deal with. Thats why I bought it. It should be fun project, and the best part, I don't have to block a bed floor, or body panels for 3 months!!

Well...after a slight snow delay, Bill picked up the gold granny car today..he brought his "pit crew" along to handle the light work. We swapped out the rallys for a set of SS wheels with redline wide ovals...it really looked great. Should be almost back in Jersey by now...I'm sure we will get more updates as Bill re-works this Nova into something special.
Thanks Bill and good luck...wilma <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif

Looks great just like that Tom,nice touch on the swap.Bill, leave as is and welcome to the Nova world.
Congrats Bill,
Add a few more cylinders under the hood and a few traction goodies, you'll be on your way to a great cruiser.
Look forward to seeing the final product.

Yep, we all arrived back in NJ, save and sound. The car is stuck in the trailer until the rain stops/maybe tomorrow? I spent a fun filled afternoon at NJ division of motor vehicles, getting the new title, reg, and historic license plates. I'll start another thread, and get this out of classifieds. Thanks for all the feedback.

Hey Sam, that's the whole reason I'm doing this build. I'm sick and tired of Albert going faster than me, with all those hottsie totsie motors, made from recycled beer cans.

Put an IHRA Pro Stock motor in it around 800 inches. that will give Albert something to think about.
