Got a call that Joe from Reath Automotive,a pioneer in the welded stroker crank passed away this morning.Joe and his wife Deli ran their HiPo and machine shop biz in Long Beach since the late 50s early 60s.They closed to shop a few years ago.Tom

Dunn and Reath Rerformance. Another pioneer gone! I think Jim Dunn is still racing.

Home of Hank the crank. Last time I was at Reaths, Joe was behind his desk wearing a blue winter jacket tjs44 had given him. It was summer, and I guess he didn't want it to go to waste...old school. RIP!

Yep, still hittin' it with a F/C. Todd Lesenko drove the car last year. Two big explosions at Indy in 2012.



Sad to hear about Joe Reath. That name is legendary in Drag Racing, ...... and always will be.

Great pictures. The famous Fuel Altered Fiat. Wasn't that Chevy powered in the beginning?
