Can anyone out there give thoughts on where I can get a body cart? I have my shell from my camaro on my lift and would like to get it on a body cart. I see summit has one for $479 with free delivery. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I built mine out of wood. Went alittle over kill bracing it up, thinking my 69 shell was heavier then what it is but works awesome and cost under $100 with casters.

I built ours for the shop and if you have a welder, it takes about 1/2 a day and around $100.

Ditto above, easy to build and much cheaper plus you can build it fully adjustable or only to fit your certain car. The casters will cost you more than the materials.....

Dan,
You and MRGTO can make one in no time <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif ....and save money in doing so.

That is what I found to be funny when I built the first one was that the casters cost more that the square tubing that I bought to build it and had plenty of tubing left over.

Just a note about casters, these guys sell great stuff at very reasonable prices. If you don't want to go with the ones that horrible freight and others sell.

The dolly I made for my 69 Elky project, was very simple. Just a rectangle, made out of 2" tubing, and 4 casters. It only cost a couple hundred bucks,

Anyone have any idea what a shell of a 69 Camaro weighs?
