How do I go about getting the free membership? I'm active duty USAF and would like to use the classified area to buy and sell items. If that portion is not included in the free use I understand.

Contact this guy: [email protected] he's in charge of the asylum. The classifieds are included in the "free" membership. Thanks for your service, welcome aboard.

Beavercreek? Are you out of WPAFB? I'm on the RQ-4 team and we contract through ASC on base.

Welcome!

Thanks for setting me up with access to the classified section.
Yes, I'm WPAFB. I work in Area A in the 88CS. I have about 8 months to go before I retire. I just got my retirement approval letter back today.

Hey folks here is an idea... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Why don't we recognize all SYC members who serve in the military with a small flag or service logo next to their user name...?? We could even have a recognition for veterans as well..shouldn't be too hard to add something like that. I think it would be a fine gesture, hopefully others will agree.

Wilma,

I like that idea, I vote for a service logo so we can keep the service rivalry alive and well.

not sure how to say this but Mike Stone is considering the Air Force, kinda tough since his dad (me), his grandfather, uncles and cousins were all Navy.
This is solely because the Air Force has career opportunities in the field he has chosen. Proud of him no matter what <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/flag.gif

AF is a good gig with sharp folks. If I could do it all over again, I would consider them for a career. Don't fret shipmate, he'll be in good hands. What line of work is he interested in?
