Hi all,

I am planning my next 1969 Chevelle purchase.

I need to see a Black 1969 Chevelle with a Parchment interior and a White Vinyl top.

Any one have pictures or know of one?

All I have so far are pictures of a dilapidated project car, must be rare as they don't come up for sale ever.

Ryan,

There are a few out there, you are correct they are rare....and seldom come up for sale.

The last one I saw was at CB in the early 2000's.
I believe there was a feature of one in Chevelle World.

That is an awesome combo.

I have been "PM,ing" Chuck Hanson to try to get a full set of Chevelle World Magazine. I joined ACES just as it closed up.

If someone wants to part with their CW collection I am interested in used copies as well.

My favorite is black ext, parch int, white stripe combination, but I have never seen the white vinyl top added to this combo except the rough one in the pics, I have a feeling that may be my new favorite......

Black 69 Z with white vinyl tops looks pretty darn good too.

I like is so much I almost considered adding the vinyl top to my black Z.

At Hershey this past year, there was a black one with white top and red interior.

Personally, I am a big fan of dark colors with white trim, even though I'm not a lover of black in general.

Are you the PSMCDR announcer? I think I saw a reference in another post?

Thanks for the picture, this car has been for sale recently, or one just like it.

That car was for sale back in 2009. I just shot an email to the seller (yeah, I really need to cleanout my emails) and he replied saying the car was shipped to Australia. Last he heard, the car was dismantled for restoration, eh!

Hi Bill,

That car is fantastic, (the combo works equally well either Hardtop or Convertible) that combo is what I am looking for in 2014, now need to sell my current 69.

So I can buy my "Next/Last" 69.

Thanks for posting.

That is a beauty.

It has been for sale a little while, and I still own my Lemans Blue 69, so no go for me.

I am realy hoping someone knows of a hardtop with the white vinyl top in mint condition to drool over.

I realy don't want to find one for sale right now as I can't have it. (too painful)

69 chevelle SS BB 396 4 speed both matching numbers 12 bolt posi still has the tag on it not sure if original but correct for the car, the car was just repainted black that was the color it was when I got the car base coat water born clear coat it has not been wet sanded and buffet yet, the white interior isin vey nice condition has been replaced at one time needs a new dash pad which I have and will try to replace before the auction end.the chrome is new I have the original badges that came on the car and they will come with it, all the glass is good windshield is new and the back glass was resealed, the vinal top I believe is original but is in very good shape no soft spots on the roof so you could change the color if you want

the 396 is a numbers matching block and heads and intake It was just rebuilt by a professional builder(thanks to my neighbor he was starting it and letting it run and the fuel pump went bad and filled the oil pan full of gas wipe number 1 and 4 rods, bearings and crank) It has a new steel crank, connecting rods, bearings std, new valve springs, new crane cam (out of 375 HP) hastings rings std, push rods and rockers are original the only have 59000 miles has had a valve job and hardnd seats, the block was line bored for crank and cam also they were decked, new carb, new fuel pump, new oil pump, new water pump, all the fluids were changed at that time, has a new zoom clutch, through out bearing pressure plate and pilot bushing, has new bushings upper and lower as well as pitman arm then front end alignment, the car runs great at 70 MPH all day can drive any where brakes disk front drum rear are like new, has new tires every thing works as it should

if you have any questions let me know and if you need more pictures let me know

I`m sure I forgot something its a great car looks and drives as

Agree, 69 seats need buttons. (some small details like that don't pop out but they add up as you look over a car)

Has anyone ever seen a Black or Burnished Brown 1969 Chevelle 300 Deluxe Post Sedan with a white Vinyl top? Any pictures? I would love to see one to help my next car selection process.....

Probably a rare bird to find a post sedan with a vinyl top....if you're going for the bargain basement car you don't usually add bling like that....

Thanks Rick, take you time, but I would really appreciate the pictures at some point. The combination in your picture is stunning. (Black, Parchment, Black VT)

Bill, I agree about the low dollar car getting very few options, but a few came with VT's......without seeing one myself I wonder if it will look "right"? My friend Dan Vasic suggests no stripes, no VT, no anything except an L89-M22-KK on/in a 300 Deluxe.

Has anyone ever seen a Black or Burnished Brown 1969 Chevelle 300 Deluxe Post Sedan with a white Vinyl top? Any pictures? I would love to see one to help my next car selection process.....

Ryan,

So far....it does Not Exist. If it does.....It`s a One of One! Base line cars just did not get the options.

I only have one Burnished Brown SS396 300 Deluxe in my registry, no Vinyl top.

Just last week....I received a call from a gentleman....who claims he had a real 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan....I determined it was a Clone, born 307, Burnished Brown. It wasn`t what he wanted to hear, but made a new friend.
