Mentioned elsewhere. Dan Schutzbank (mosportgreen66) saw it go across and said it was hurried across the block.

According to the seller it was not the original motor. I checked the cowl tag and it was original. Colors aren't near as flashy as a blue, red, or orange but $105,000 for a real COPO Camaro...

A Green COPO went for 85k or so 4-5 years ago at BJ as well.
IMHO
In terms of COPO's a Green non matching x44 is like next to last place in Miss America. Last being a green interior tree auto...
Yea she's still HOT and desirable compared to the general population, however she just doesn't make the impression or show that spark when compared to the greatest.(Matching #'s 4 spd Black RS Double COPO)
If you happen to be a fan of Green Cars then you are the benefactor of the bias many harness towards them.

Yep, I have a fathom green/dark green interior RS, Z/28 and seldom win any car shows around here. Even has the original endura bumper but hey, who really cares.

the quality of the resto could have been a factor also.

Sam - your fathom green Z is beautiful!!! I believe that this copo was a col shift auto - that combo would kill any color IMO.

Copo was a stick
It was a 4spd. with no floor console.

my mistake about the auto trans - I read about it on TC web site. Looks like the light green interior?

Better choice IMO - original interior 40,000 mile car

The steering wheel on the gold car looks green. Having Canadian Documents should help the sale of the gold COPO.

Doesn't it have a green interior?
Ok I have to say something about the BJ auction. First the womam is a bimbo with fat injected lips
Why her??. there are lots of bright knowlegeable women they could have chosen.
Very little actual coverage of cars being auctioned.
Since when does a 66 nova sell more than a 1970 chevelle SS L78 Convertable Documented. Am i missing something????
69 Z28s selling for over 100 thousand?????

The picture of the dash and front seats in the gold car make it look black, must be the lighting.

1 of 1 colour combo indeed. When I was a kid we had a couch the color of that interior and a fridge the color of the exterior.
