Gorgeous Extreme Quality Restored 1969 Camaro (and Nova) Subframe

The subframe is setup for a big block, 4-speed, disc brakes and manual steering.

Fits: 1967-1969 Camaro as well as 1968-1972 Nova

Subframe came from my 9300 original mile 1969 Nova and has been painstakingly detailed. All of the original welding splatter debris has been carefully removed. All sharp edges have been hand radiused. The subframe was then completely ground with a wire wheel and finally media blasted. The same attention was taken with the upper and lower a-arms along with the other associated components. The basic subframe as well as upper and lower a-arms are powder coated in semi-gloss black. New McQuay-Norris ball joints, McQuay-Norris tie rod ends, Moog upper and lower a-arm bushings were installed (offset HD Moog setup used on upper a-arms to improve positive camber curve).

The steering relay rod powder, disc brake spindles, steering arms, stabilizer bar, stabilizer bar brackets, tie rod clamps, big block motor mounts, big block four speed transmission crossmember, springs and small hardware detailed and powder coated 60% gloss black.

All of the fasteners have been replaced with new GM hardware or A-N (aircraft) components. The transmission crossmember is mounted with B&B Performance “long” shoulder bolts. Shock absorbers are new adjustable Koni classic (vintage) models. New upper and lower a-arm snubbers. Steering box is a fresh blueprinted manual 525 setup from Borgenson. New pitman arm. New stabilizer bar end links with cadmium plated hardware, transmission mount for Muncie or Super T-10 and clutch cross shaft mount included in the build.

The underside is as clean as the topside. The front crossmember is very nice. There’s a tiny wave under the crossmember, but not large enough to notice. Probably the nicest I’ve ever seen. Obviously, it was jacked up under the crossmember on a regular basis. ☺ If you need pix of the underside, let me know.

I have untold hours in this thing (there is two full weeks worth of work cleaning off the GM welding splatter and cleaning up the various sharp edges). It’s probably over-restored, but I think it looks pretty cool. I’m asking $5500 or best offer. And yes, I can wrap it and then put it on a pallet for shipping (extra of course…L-O-L).
