Big fan, why I took up guitar and ended up gigging for years. Read a couple of books on him, and little ink <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif

Love Stevie Ray Vaughan, I saw him once, 10 August 1989 in Moncton,NB playing with The Stray Cats. Great show. I'm also a big Jimmie Vaughan fan.

I was 19 years old when I first saw Stevie at Hara Arena in Dayton Ohio, September 24th, 1985.

I'd been playing guitar since age 14, and I damn near wore out my Texas Flood LP trying to learn those songs.

Still can't believe that was 30 years ago...seems like yesterday...

I love his playing! I wish I had a chance to see him. His passing was a big loss to the blues.

Saw him two times, both with the Fabulous Thunderbirds. To this day he is one of my favorites. I remember like yesterday when I heard the news of his death...BKH

Loved SRV

Me and my best friends were on a beer drinking weekend when we heard he had passed away, the entire weekend was dedicated to SRV.

Greatest guitarist ever, period.

I have never seen or heard someone so emotionally connected to his guitar (well, maybe Hendrix but he never got close to reaching his potential).

Sad that we lost him like that. I remember hearing it on the car radio too like it was yesterday.

I moved to Austin, TX in 1982 and we could hear him play at Antones for $2 back then. I still see his brother play at Antones on occasion.
