Does anyone make the silk screen decal for the air cleaner - goes on the underside of the air cleaner?

If it's anything like the one used on open element air cleaner Chevelles, the words are embossed into the metal. I have an NOS one here somewhere I can take pics of if needed. You can fill in the letters with black paint using a very fine artist brush, if you have a steady hand of course <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif.

Eddie - I spent a lot of time thinking about this since your email. I suggest reaching out to Mark (CamaroMB). This is his 17k mile car at MCACN. Fantastic example.

Not sure what you mean by carb to air cleaner rod?

I think Eddie is talking about the threaded stud that screws into the top of the carb.

I have no reason to believe this is not the original air cleaner stud for the 10D open Element Car I have. The carb was very original including the correct base plate before I sent it to Eric Jackson.

First pic shows the base of the stud, the second shows the length. With the assembly completely installed - the stud bevel at most sticks through the top wing nut

thank you - ill see if i can get a measurement from your pics to a real carb. Also - the plating on the rod - looks like in the restored photo it is zinc plated.......should it be phosphated with a chrome nut?
