A friend of mine has a driver quality unrestored 70 L78 Nova.I doen't have a lot of info but it does have 2 special options. It is Burnished Brown and still has the original M22.I know it's hard to nail down a number with so little to go on but what price range do you think this car falls into?
Thanks

Are you sure it's a '70? Burnished Brown is a '69 only color.

Somebody here might correct me, but to my knowledge you couldn't get an M22 in a Nova in 70.

OK.It could be a 69 and I know it's the darker brown that you usually see on a GS or 442.

You are correct..the M22 was not an option for the Nova in 1970. It was not that common in the 68's or 69's either..only 167 cars got in 68 and around 600 in 69...most likely these were only in L78 cars.

Regarding value...photos and more info would be needed.

It turns out the car was restored 10 years ago.

That car has some broad date ranges; block cast in October, assembled in mid December, with heads dated in late January - what's the date of the car?

Assembled 4th week of February '69...according to the owner.
