what size bar With F 41 suspension...7/8?..1 inch..1.125..1.250..I must be getting old..forgetting all this stuff <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

In 1969, 1.25 inch diameter front bar was also optional listed as part number 402544 in the F41 special performance suspension package.

The standard bar in 1969 was .937 inches and was carried over from 68 and was part number 398411

This is out of the Chevelle SS Restoration Guide by Paul Herd

I know the 1970 F41 bar is 1.125&quot;. Never seen a 1.25&quot; bar on anything before the 2nd gen WS6 Trans Ams.

The SS Restoration Guide by Paul Herd has been known to have some mistakes in it.

I did a search on team chevelle and according to a thread over there, 15/16 inches was standard and 1 1/8 inches was for F41.
Translated to decimals that .937 inches and 1.125 inches.
