View Full Version : TT-D steel/alum or magnesium 14x6 ?
just picked up a pair of old Torque Thrust style wheels 14 x 6 , they seem extremly lite for the back side being steel. how could I tell if they're magn, or alum ?
there is a sticker on one saying pontiac 57-67?
cleaned one up some and found keystone on the back, guess there not anything specail, but I'll clean them up and put them on the 58 belair.
well turns out that they fit pontiac 55-67 big bolt pattern.
WOW!, I was going to post them for sale, but after being on this board for 13 years. I've been banned from posting in the for sale section.
I guess not owning a $100k car I am not worthy.
It doesn't look like you have been banned, but just need to renew your membership as that is a requirement to post in the "for sale" section.

You're not banned from posting, you're just not a paid member. They're the ones who can post in the classifieds. Its a nice perk plus it keeps down on listings by drop-by one shot wonders. Lots of guys who don't own $100K cars are paid members. Some guys, like me, fall in and out of membership and post (or don't post) in the classifieds accordingly. Read the simple rules and try not to feel victimized.

You're proabably right Bernard. However, this site is not foremost about offering a buying/selling venue for cars, car parts, memorabilia etc. That's a perk to be sure. But, I believe we are trying to primarily cultivate a bulletin board that supports learning and sharing all we can about these terrific supercars and muscle cars.
