1969 SCUNCIO Chevelle SS396 L78 w/ Dealer installed 427 (CE)

1969 Scuncio Chevelle L78 M21 410 with two factory build sheets. The L78 was replaced under warranty at the dealer with a 427 (512 Short Block Swap). Plenty of conversation on this car over that last 10 years. The car is an original 10 10 Tuxedo Black car which has been repainted once in 1986 and still wears extremely well. The interior is Parchment and is in excellent original condition. The car retains its original M21 4 speed transmission as well as it original KK 410 rear end. Factory Chambered Exhaust (still on the car) and a 69 only rolled exhaust tip car. Formerly owned by Joey Kramer of Aerosmith. A very special car from the legendary Scuncio Hi Performance dealership. Please contact me for more details -

Dan -

I'll get updated pictures of both the engine and trunk (ones I have are not that good). My hope is to find the right person to become its new caretaker. It is a special car and one that is not getting near eBay. If I can't find the right person it will stay right where it is.

Picture of the Chambered exhaust ... not all sections look this good <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Jeff,

Thanks for the quick response. When the car was on eBay back in 2004.....wasn't there a picture of Joey Kramer with the Chevelle?

"Chuck edited the original post for you"...... Now if you said "Joey Kramer was the only SIGNIFICANT previous owner" I would have felt better... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif Youve sure done alot of detail to the car since getting it. There is alot of good history on that car. The story about the guy being overseas and having his mother order and pick this car up for him at Scuncio in a snow storm ,only for him to be upset she didnt get him a COPO 427 car,is priceless.
