"GM AIR INJ REACTOR" may have been mandatory for this CA delivered car. $44.75 extra! May have been a sailor that bought this hipo Nova!

Aztec Bronze is the ultimate 1966 color.

Is that the same color used in 68?
The Corvette in that color was "Copper Bronze"
The Camaro in that color was "Corvette Bronze"

RS Z in Corvette Bronze with black stripes is my favorite combo for a 68.

Man it always annoys me when they use the wrong posi tag on the rear end. Almost like a Caution Fan sticker

W<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/drool.gifW and how much sweeter could it get than that right there!!!
Wingate worked at Clippinger but also brokered factory deals for race teams through other dealers like Fred Gledhill Chevy.
Traco was located nearby to Cippinger too so always lots of racing excitment going on there also guys around like Garner, Guldstrand and Yenko etc.

----What a showroom floor, huh? That 68 with the stripe in the second pic was Wingates 68 driver, I believe.
----Several years ago I found that one of my old 67 Corvettes (Actually my favorite of all time) had been on the floor of Clippinger for several years although not purchased their new. It had been for sale (loosley) for all that time and I had been looking for it a similar period. But, as luck would have it I found it a couple of weeks late as it had finally been sold......Bill S

----Its hard to believe in the context of that particular car but thats the spare tire holder and it appears as though there is actually a tire in there. It also appears to be too big a spare as the carrier lid shouldnt be down that low.......Bill S

Perhaps there's a spare rear steamroller filling the tire basket and holding it down?
Cool you had a Clippinger '67 Bill, Coupe or Roadster also what engine?
Looking at the 2'nd picture it obvious who Garner and Yenko are, looks like Wingate 2'nd from the back on the right in front of the guy w/ the Popeye smile but does anyone know who the Potsy Webber looking lad beside Garner is or recognize the other fellas?

All i see is 2 '68 camaros. The white one is a later built car with Z/28 on front fender. '67s have round turn signal lenses in grille and vent windows in side glass.

The Resonators are not mounted correctly also.....They shouldn't be flat, but angled to flip the exhaust tip out to the side at an angle.......Very nice car....

----Pete,,,Car didnt come from Clippinger new. It was a 67 white/black-on-white 427/400 4spd/AC coupe with just about every option you could check off on the order list. Only thing not included was sidepipes. Even had the original bolt-ons. Came delivered with an M-21 and 3:08 posi. Very unusual. It never seemed hard to get off the line to me but others claimed it was. I bought the car off the original lady owner in southern Ohio in 1975. Kept it for awhile and then was in the market for a house in Hinsdale,Ill when I went to work for Jack Douglas. Sold it for the downstroke. Wish I had never done it as the car was the nicest mid-year I ever sat in, hands down!
----Last I heard it was somewhere in Texas. I think Chris P might know.....Bill S
