Just received a group email from a well known dealer. This is what it says along with a couple of photos of the deck stamp and paperwork....

1969 L88 Coupe Found
After Sitting For 18 Years
Runs and Drives Like an L88 Should
LeMans Blue with Matching
Bright Blue Interior
Original Motor
Tons of Factory Docs
Email If Interested At Market Price

So, what's Market Price?? I've got a feeling whatever it is has lots of zeros.

----Jacquie,,,Way too many variables to give you a "market" value. No mention of condition, quality of paint and interior or what, if any, resto has been done. Says original motor, but doesnt address any other dated items, nor does it say what has been done to the motor over the years. You would think they would say "build sheet" if there was one, not just factory docs. Just my two cents.......Bill S

depends on if the "well known dealer" is from Ohio or not ... <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

My 70 Z28 has been on jack stands since 98, so I guess that is close to 18 years but it is not "found" even though it has been on jack stands for all that time under a car cover

my 2¢

I guess as the saying goes, If you have to ask... you can't afford it. Pretty sure I fall into that category here.

Not from Ohio, from Anaheim, CA. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/wink.gif

Didn't the 69 L88's have the engine code "LO", not "IT?

IT codes for L88s (842) up to the open chamber heads (074) changeover, then LO.

This car has a window sticker, I understand the price is $500,000.
With original engine and strong paperwork, it should bring this. I've never seen pictures of the car.
