Sent this car out over the weekend. The owner bought it in 1975 and made it into a drag car. The red and yellow paint work has been on since'77. After letting the car sit for the last 10 to 15 years, he decided to put it back on the street, but decided to go the road race route this time.
468 BBC, Keisler 6-speed, Fab 9 rearend with Chassis Works 4-link and front suspension crossmember. We added Vintage Air, tilt column, adjustable pedals and custom headers and exhaust. Most of the parts on the car came from shut down Cup teams.

Excellent work; you can see the attention to detail on the way the metal pieces fit together; well done.

That would make for an excellent IROC replica...

Did that car originally say DIRECT CONNECTION on it, I seem to remember this car from Long Island?

Thanks guys.
The car has always been in Big Stone Gap, VA. No lettering.
Did anyone notice the V-gate decal on the upper part of the fender?
He had a Doug Nash tranny in the car with a V-gate.

I do believe years ago there was a early to mid-70's Camaro that had "Direct Connection" lettered on it.
