The 71 Nova I am working on has a black interior. I have obtained a few OEM plastic parts ("B" pillar molding, kick panels, etc.) that need to be refinished black. Has anyone here any experience with (painting -- for lack of a better term) changing color of plastic parts?
Thanks in advance -- The TAZ

SEM Landau black is a good match for most GM . Id use their adhesion promotor or bulldog depending on the plastics . Follow the directions . SEM soap is good for cleaning too , a tube will do about 20 cars I think .. Goes a long ways .

I really like the COLORBOND line of products. I did a lot of interior pieces for a '66 Caprice in black a couple years ago, and was very happy with how the product went on, touch up, etc. Use their cleaners and prep materials for best results

I think the SEM 15243 is a better choice for interior plastic.
scrub everything good with purple power or simple green.

SEM Laundau black is the best stuff for black interiors. Depending on the texture of the part, it ends up a different finish from a gloss to a flat. Very versatile color.
