Anyone interested in viewing this car are more than welcome to see for themselves body #'s VIN #'s etc....
Did anyone see the #'s posted on the Porterfield car??? Has anyone ever seen any #'s posted on the internet for any of the 50 Gibb cars????....I haven't!! It is not to my benefit to post them.
Anyone who restores cars knows, we are not in it for the money.....The cost to restore is far greater than you could ever hope to recover!!!

Car Star...I would like to ask about the red Arizona '69 Camaro body & the ownership & VIN tag, Cowl tag,& Canadian Docs for the 375HP I sold you, as well as the COPO Chevelle (drag car) with the dana rear end....(came out of Stayner)
you tried to sell me parts off it....you re-bodied this car with a 6 cyl. out of Toronto...
Mark, I guess this is how some people deal with "rusty cars"

32Ply....The cost to restore a ZL1 is far less than the value of the ZL1. That is a good reason there is so much fraud. Your car was discussed in another thread and someone defending you supplied trim tag info on your car. But the trim tag info was wrong. You were asked to post pics of the trim tag but never did. Bulaw clearly posted pics of a car with the same vin as yours. He stated the car with your vin had a fake trim tag. You appear to be trying to divert our attention to other cars and not address the serious subject of your car. Do you have the real Trim tag for your car ? Trying to bash others instead of clearing up what might be two different ZL1's with the same vin should be the first thing on your list.

Pic or trim tag
Pic of VIN
Pics of sheet metal dates.

How can that NOT be to your benefit, especially if you are in the market to sell?

I have a novice question ... Where are the dates stamped on the sheetmetal? Are all panels stamped? How are they decoded? I have a pair of nos quarters stamped by where the seal goes in the trunk aerea ...

That's the location for quarters. Front fenders are on the top flange of the fender seen when the hood is raised. The code indicates the week of production.

I have found several places that appear to have some kind of date looking code. Some are tough to read. Found them in the rear of floor pan, inner rear fender that's behind wheel house, trunk floor had one and on firewall.

All sheetmetal parts have datestamps indicating the week of production.
