Finally, a car with "CAUTION FAN" sticker that is supposed be there. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/grin.gif

Congrats. That is an nice car! Can you post a video of the engine sound? We'd all love to hear it. <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Was that at Mecum Indy? I never saw it, then again I didn't see anything that wasn't in my "baby sitting zone". <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/rolleyes.gif

Turns out the "Caution fan" sticker does not belong there.

The dealers installed them at the time of service but it was not federally mandated until 1972 on closed shrouds. Factory photos support this and prior to late 71 the only ones known correct are the open shrouds 'finger guards" as found on the Boss 9 for example. NOS service parts had them installed prior to stapeling the box thus all the restored cars with them. Like to hear what you guys have discussed when it comes to GM so will head over to the search function rather than dilute Charleys new toy post. Looks like perhaps RJ's sons old car out of Florida?

I met the guy who runs the 1967 Ford Registry a few weeks ago. Adrian Clements owns a 428 4-speed wagon and a Custom with a W-code 427 - both 1 of 1 per motor and tranny combo.

It's even rarer with the 1x4 engine, as 6 were built and 2 with the 7-Litre package.

There used to be a green one of these cars in Santa Barbara. The original owner would bring it in to one of the local gas stations and put up on the rack to clean/detail the underside on a regular basis. He was a traveling salesman when the car was new. I don't know how many miles were on it but it looked mint. This was back in the '80s. and early '90s when I last saw it.

Here are a couple pics taken by the worlds worst photographer of a car we just acquired for the Brothers collection. 66 R code dual quad 4 speed convert, black with red interior. Only two known to exist.
