I've been on vacation visiting family and friends here in Maryland this week. Saturday I was able to borrow a friend's '70 Chevelle and went to his yearly benefit show, then drove to a new local cruise spot. The weather was great and I had a great time catching up with my car buddies.

Normally I would have hot-linked all of these photos, but this hotel ISP is very slow, so here is the link;

The Cortez Silver '69 Z28, Hugger Orange SS, Rally Green SS, and the Forest Green 70 are all owned by the same guy. Gotta admire his drive to bring back four rusty F-bodies from the dead. I'm told he had 8.

Rick,

Once I saw all the trim tags restored the same way....I knew it was the same owner / restorer. Does not make it correct, but nicely done. I like them <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Some beautiful cars there.

Does it drive anyone else nuts when a non-RS 2nd gen Camaro gets the split bumper treatment?

Ugh, just put the full length bumper on it.

That makes two of us; I think the single bumper looks pretty nice and it does bother me when people put the split bumpers on non-RS cars. It is, of course, their car so they can do as they please and tell us to go pound sand.

One of the owner's friends kept insisting that hood was original. It has a Goodmark cowl hood on it. But I suggested installing a correct front bumper or build the RS front end correctly.

The cowl tag is missing, or I would have shot it too.
