This is the first time this car has been forsale since 1967 when it was ordered new, unbelieveable find that is most likely the best unrestored in the country. The car has the nicest orig paint and interior u could ask for and every piece of paperwork from day 1, along with the orig dealer payment books and dealer trinkets that were given to the customer upon delivery. The eng runs like new and remains untouched with all tags, stickers, brackets, and finishes as delivered by gm in 1967,the car was stored properly 4 ft off the ground in a sealed bag for the last 38 yrs and should go to a hi end collector or museum possibly? The car has not even been hosed off or cleaned in any way yet and still has the mold on the tires and interior fresh from its crypt,so heres the chance of a life time for most of us that love these survivor type cars espically a ss427....asking 75k possible trades ????thanks 570-854-0896 scott

Outstanding find, CDN built car. One of 40 built at ST Therese QC for US sale. GM Canada docs available of course but you don't exactly need them with all that documentation you have. I wish mine was in that kinda shape.

I'd be interested in seeing pictures of the engine pad, trim tag and protectoplate for the 67-69 Impala SS427 registry.
Thanks, Warren

according to the window sticker and for clarification, was the side accent stripes taken off, the trunk lock and rallye wheels added at some point ?

ok to clairfy some questions about a few items here they are,The car was delivered without the side stripes for some unknown reason(maybe a canada issue) according to the orig owner, was also delivered with 14" rally wheels instead of the ss hubcaps that were standard he was given a discount for all the mishaps (have paperwork) and a set of hubcaps were ordered for him but he installed a set of mags on the car within the first few weeks of ownership and never went back for them,6 months later he saw the parts manager driving around with his hubcaps on his personal car lol .The trunk release was installed at a later date, and the mags were taken off and rally wheels put back on the car before it went into storage.

Only the third 67 SS427 I know of from St Therese and I have a factory invoice from a forth that was built close to this one. What's the sticker on the brake booster?

By the way, have you checked under the back seat for the St Therese Chassis Broadcast? Would be folded in two or three and hog ringed to the back of the back seat bottom. Might also be one above the hood insulation if the car has it.

It's rare to see that sticker on the brake booster, I've only ever seen it on another low 66 CDN car. It says "Bendix power brakes Made in Canada".

Yes u are correct about the brake booster sticker also someone said the yellow posi sticker is a rare find also? This car has lots of weird stuff as i always thought the canadian built cars had body color trunk floors and firewalls but this one dose not??? <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

The yellow posi sticker is somewhat rare being specific to CDN built cars. The St Therese US export cars were for the most part built to US 67 production specs. With the exception of the Posi sticker, brake booster sticker and maybe a couple other small things on this car. Does the car have the VIN stamped on the front engine pad?? Also is the front splash pan one piece or two pieces with a joint in the middle?

yes the vin# is on the front pad,ill check the splash pan and look for a build sheet later and keep u posted...thanks.

Thanks. For posting that pad pic. Is the date T0130IS?
What's the build date on the cowl tag? Any rpo codes shown on it?

Found a broadcast sheet today under the seat like u said ,its very unique looking and has all the codes and even some hand written corrections on it.In the box marked wheels there is a letter C. According to colvins book that means 15x6 hd wheels i believe and the sheet is dated march 1967 ..

Awesome car! I would LOVE to own this gem. Was the engine repainted? It looks too nice and just wondering not critiquing. Also looked like there was orange paint on the PCV hose where it rests in the bracket.

C wheel code would be the 14x6 rims, maybe that's what you meant?

No i dont believe the eng has been touched, that bracket and a few other items look like they were painted with a brush from the factory and is wearing off when rubbed against.I will have this car and a few other survivors forsale at the cpaa collector car auction in july if anyone is interested thanks.

Scott,
Can you post a picture of the protectoplate? You can cover up the owners info of you want. I'd like to see all the drivetrain codes and options shown on it.

Did you happen to get the pop info before you sold it? It was a cool car, hope the new owner enjoys it.
