A Norwood car will have codes on the tag, LS3 in this case. A VN car will not. The LS3 was 300hp by 71, as recorded by net instead of gross hp.
CLA (CLC): 396ci, hp, mt, 300hp/SS
CLB (CLD): 396ci, at, hp, 300hp/SS

No more 12 bolts at all, so a 10 bolt is correct even in a BB car.
The Z used a different accelerator pedal, but not the SS cars.
Last year for VN production cars.
Standard rear code (CJ) for a 71 LS3 would have been the 3:42 gear. Not sure if you could special order another combo by 71.
