After about 15 years, this Judge is coming home. More to come. To start it's a Ram Air IV , 4 speed, blue interior, per steering, per brakes, hood tach, console, gauges, tinted glass.

Very excited.

Congrats.
Looks really nice & sounds perfect...sounds like it's running a chambered exhaust.
Was it sold brand new or is it coming from Il?...looks like 1970 Il. plates is why I ask.

More pictures to come. It will arrive at my home either Thursday or Friday this week. It was sold new out of Kole Pontiac in IL. That is a 1970 IL plate. I contacted the previous owner about 15 years ago and inquired about the Judge to see if he would be willing to sell it to me. He emailed me this past December, but had my previous employers email address. I received a phone call from my old boss and he stated I have some information that may be of interest to you. So he forwarded the email from the Judges prior owner and after an email and some lengthy phone calls and a trip to Canada, I now own the Judge. Atoll blue is my favorite color on a Judge. The pink, blue and orange stripes just look perfect against Atoll blue.

The Judge went from Illinois to California. Either the original owner was transferred due to their job or moved to California for a fresh start. The Judge was then sold to a dealer and that is who the person I bought it from purchased it from. It had 39,000 miles and still wore it's original paint and still had a Kole Pontiac trunk decal on the deck lid. In fact the person I got it from said if he would have known how desirable survivor type cars would be , he would have left it alone. It has it's original sheet metal and just one very nice repaint. All original interior except for the dash. It now has 56,000 miles on it as the prior owner drove it and never trailered it to any shows. He went through and rebuilt the engine trans and rear and enjoyed this car. It's not perfect and needs some detailing but it's all there. It has it's born with trans and rear as well as the correct carb, alt, ram air starter, radiator, etc. The engine is a correct and date coded WW block with correct and date coded heads and intake. The block has a VIN on it and I ran that VIN through PHS and Vintage Vehicle Services and both report that that either that VIN does not exist or their records do not go that low. That is a mystery as all machining marks are factory as are all stampings. So if anyone knows how to correlate the EUN to a car please contact me. I really don't care as I would rather have a real WW block then an SR motor.

It's documented with it's PHS documents. Trying to track down the original owner to get more insight on the car as well as more history and hopefully they saved some of the original documents on the car.

I would like to thank NJSteve for recommending TFX International auto transport. They are great. The car never leaves their control from pick up to delivery. Also a thank you to Bill Nawrut who back in the day was a Kole Pontiac employee and is the original owner of 72 GTO for sending me an original Kole Pontiac deck lid decal for my car.

Oh, before I forget the exhaust is a flow master set up. Soon to be replaced by a correct set up from Gardner. Good news on the detailing side is that there is no undercoating on the floors, so that will make life much easier.

Psyched to be back in a musclecar, especially a Judge. I will post pics as I detail and take this Judge to the next level.

Nice Car <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif
A few years back I also used TFX to transport my 70 Challenger from Texas to Ontario Canada. Superb service and great prices.

Beautiful car!

Do you mind sharing the VIN and date code on the block that is in your car? I've got a Ram Air IV Judge missing its original engine and would love to find it. I've got a few Ram Air IV engines including one that is a K19 date WW block that never had a VIN stamped.

Here's the PHS. I have been traveling for work like a madman. End of our quarter. Have not been able to get good pictures. It was delivered in the rain on Monday and out of town I went. This weekend I will get some pics up. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2013/07/full-1176-5717-image.jpg

Photobucket must compress the photos when they are too large. Sorry for the bad pics. I was asked about the radiator. I have the original radiator with tag in a box. I am going to have it checked and recored. Going to drive it and enjoy this summer. Any parts that are missing in the engine bay I have and they are all date coded and correct to the car.

Thank you for the compliments, It is really great to be back in a musclecar. As stated above especially in a Judge. I am going to use this post as a starting point for the car and update with photos as I detail and refine it. First thing is to get those Firehawks off of it. They are brand new so if anyone wants em let me know. It really needs an NOS set of Good Year polys.
