This guy lived one town away from me-still does . Nick Maserielli. The 'verts are the two of 8 Hemi's..the two verts are 2 different cars-he had the distinction of owning 2 of the 8 hemi cars.., the brown Hemi Challenger was wrecked and the body used for a roundy round dirt track car which he also campaigned .the 68 RR or GTX is also hemi powered..this guy had plenty more..all were sold in the mid to late 70's..
There is really a lot to see in each pic. Thanks Dave for posting the pics and link!

Love the Bee-Liever Challenger Hemi and those two 71's Cuda Hemi verts.
If he only knew how rare and valuable all three would become in the future <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif

Wonder if that is the Humble Hugger now owned by Jim S? Hard to tell by the photo on my computer but I cannot see the Yenko SC on the rear quarters in photo 1102. I think the photos may have even been taken at the same track. PID.

That Daddy's Toy Mopar looks to be one of the earlier ones that I saw run at PID.
The later Daddy's Toy Mopars were a candy apple red color and were always a crowd favorite.

WOW - I believe the 2nd pic in the first post of the 68 red Camaro is my 68 Yenko car.....John MacNamara driving it....I believe I have that pic in my collection of pics from John.
Very Cool set of pics.....

Great pictures for so many reasons! Just to look at and enjoy and references for the day two guys. For those that have or come across the cars that are pictured, more reference for "as raced".

Jim just got back to me and is pretty confident that is in fact the Humble Hugger Camaro based on where it was shot as his car was a frequent racer at PID. It would be nice to know what year that shot was taken.

Bill Truby displays his collection every year at the PID reunion held at Pittsburgh Raceway [Formerly Keystone} at their vintage event. Also every year in the winter when PID holds their annual banquet. These pictures of the Bill Book L/78 Pacesetter SS/C and Mark Kickles HO Yenko Camaro were taken at the yearly outside Sonic PID cruise with the original PID tree..BKHhttp://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2013/08/full-10-6152-dsc_3579.jpg

Thanks.I just spoke with a local guy this morning and he said Nick took a wrecked hemi stock Challenger and pulled the motor and ran it on the local stock car tracks..not the same car..
Nick had many many Hemi and 6 pak cars..my friend is going to try to round up his own pics..

The bat car was originally a rod shop L78 car owned by Sherman Gerlach,
has been restored and in a collection of a member here I believe. This car
influenced my decision to build a ss/h 68 Camaro, great times!
