trouble verifying profile change

Hi I did some changes in my profile to up date my email, you sent me a email to verify it but it was not high lighted,should it be? this was a while ago,wish I was smarter at this, thank you.

Ryan I hope it does not take that long but you would be welcome to stop. There is some thing I just don,t understand,I typed in verify email but it goes back my old email, I will try later,old guys need rest, also thanks Charley we will figure it out.
