Does anyone know what brand the stroker crank was motion used in the 482 engines? I'm going to have it checked, but I'm starting to really think my 454 is stroked

They used a variety of brands of products for engine mods over the years. One of Joel's favorite in the stroker crank area was Crankshaft Co.

I always though a 482 was a 454 .125" over. A common combo back in the era of thick wall #512 blocks.

Makes sense Joe, cause going .125 ain't much of a catalog item!

4.250 x 4.250 or 4.00 x 4.375. Torque or Horsepower. Torque rules the street. However, Big bore, short stroke more upper RPM power. I remember lots of compression, square ports, big carbs., big headers and steep gears. And lots of broken parts.
