Why do you think it may be a Copo block? From what you have posted there is no indication it may be....

How about a photo of the "T05077BA" I would like to see the stamping if possible, I have never seen a "BA" & with the casting date of C 12 9 and can not find a "BA" code anywhere for a Chevrolet Big Block regardless of the casting # of the block. I believe about this time (March of 1969) is when all Chevrolet engine codes were 3 digits "C--" for a Chevrolet Car & "T--" for a Chevrolet Truck. I'm always trying to learn, even at my age...

Thank You in Advance,

Bill

The suffix code is '7BA' which I believe is a marine engine.

Definitely marine. I believe cast iron head l88 seen in Sanger jet boats and possibly others.
