http://amateurdebeauxchars.forumactif.com/t6070p30-recherche-infos-sur-chevelle-copo 576HP 10.75 1/4 mile. 9 pages of french, but it tells about the special order paint ZP2,cant imagiune why lemans blue on white was not a suggested color on a copo. Also previous owner claims the 427 emblems and silver stripes were on since new.

Paint color looks more like azure turquoise to me. But I think that was a 69 color too.

I cut a guy off in Quebec this week.
Learned a few new words, Tabernac, Cris de something, modzee, something, trout de coup, (please excuse my spelling)

PS: in my defence a car put on the four way flashers in the slow lane so I pulled into the fast lane with lots of room.....and kept up with the car in front of me......the guy started waving his fist so I lost interest in getting back over.....
Back to Yenko Chevelle. Sorry to thread steal.

My wife speaks and writes French pretty well - so I called in my personal translator!
Underneath it all, the French thread was trying to learn like we are about what is orig with the copo chevelle cars.

Kimberly is a person of MANY talents! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif
why do you say it is special paint and trim? Is that on the trim tag or build sheet?
I would not go by the Canadian doc for the RPO code deffinitions as they are not correct on some.
pnt code 71 with white int is a nice/rare combo but don't see why it is special order?

Id be more than happy to compare factory paperwork [on parchment interior copo cars specifically] if you have any to share .

There is a beautiful Garnet red COPO up here in Canada with Parchment bucket interior and four speed.
I will PM the docs for reference.
Stumbled across it at a local car show.
Owner (has owned the COPO 42 years with no interest in selling it) was a super nice guy.
