I'm very surprised that the owner would keep that tire and wheel combo on a $185K car. I would bet that they car either came with slots or Cragers when new. And those tires....

The 1971 Camaro would look much better if it had period correct polyglas tires IMO
I love the Dusk Blue '69 Camaro......WOW.

I have the poster framed and hanging in my hallway. Now all I need is 400k! That is an awesome car.

Very nice cars. The owner and his family went way beyond being hospitable with me. Beautiful collection.
The 71 BM Camaro came with Ansen slots from Baldwin when delivered new to a PA dentist who was the original owner. All three are great cars and it's a rare opportunity to start an immediate BM collection. Good luck to the owner.

Didn't the Dusk '69 also come new with Ansens. There are vintage pics showing it with Ansens.

Geez Rich, just get the owner to bring the fleet to MCACN. We all know how many deals are struck within those walls!
Nothing like seeing, feeling and hearing these cars, and with Joel, Marty and Joe Oldham standing next to them at the MCACN show recalling the stories from "back in the day," what could be a better way to close the deal? <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/3gears.gif

Hey Frank! When you have over twenty-five cars in the collection, some other cars and their priorities come first! Specially since the car doesnt need much, while other cars needing help, came first!! The car was in line to get NEW TIRES & WHEELS and detailed up!! After that is done the price is GOING UP!!! If you are the buyer we can work on the wheels & tires issues to make you happy happy for the money!!! Waiting for the call!! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/sleep.gif
Bob! Trying to get the 73 Baldwin Motion there!! I know Joel would like to see it again! We talked last time about that car and it would be a hoot to start up a L88 with sidepipes out of a 73 Chevelle!!! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/beers.gif

LOVE the Camaros, both of them are just great, but that Chevelle just scratches my "different" itch perfectly. Dang.

All most any "L-88" has that itch. But a Motion is itched perfectly...

Car just changed hands again. Maybe the new owner(member)can show the new tires and wheels on it. Looks pretty cool next to its new stall mates..

A friend in my hometown (Manheim PA) owned this car in the early 80's , Bought it at Car Village in Lebanon PA, when he was 19 years old , Needless to say he lost his drivers license shortly there after !!!
I remember a picture of the car in an old issue of Hot Rod circa 1982 on the Car Village lot perhaps shortly before your friend purchased it. At the time it was wearing Crager SS wheels and looked pretty mean. The original slots are a good look as well. When I owned the car it had corvette rally wheels.

Yep, he bought it within a week or 2 after that issue of Hot Rod came out. It had the Cragars on it when he got it, but he put Cragar SST (tricks) on it soon as he got it home. Raised a lot of hell in that car chasing girls, drinkin & street racing, Even drove it to the Playboy Club in Atlantic City a few times. The car was actually in his fathers name ,so once he started getting into trouble with it. His dad took it back , and made him trade it in on a Custom Dodge van
