Muscle Car Adventure

Just got back from the first Muscle Car Adventure in the Wisconsin Dells area.......The Event was put on by Stefano and the Chula Vista resort.........Wow!!!!.........What a great time....they had different Cruises set up on a daily basis.....The cruises included stops at Winery's, Brewery's and other places of interest with all of the routes on very scenic country roads.......with Lunch stops and a Dinner cruise (Boat) in the mix also...........There was approximately 165 cars that were registered and attended.......The cars were a mix of new and old......with a lot of Nickey Camaro's in the "New" category.........Lot's of loud exhaust rumbling thru the countryside.......Mark it on your calendar for next year.......A "Great" time was had by all......Here are some pic's.....

When my wife and I went to Road America in July we diverted to Minocqua for a few days to visit a friend. We traveled down to Wisconsin Dells and ate at Ishnala. It's really beautiful. I'd like to do this next year.

THAT was a good time! Would have had a better time if my car ran on 8 cylinders the entire trip!

I still recall the perfect sound of the sidepipes on that car when we followed you back to your place a few summers ago............didn't you say that was a factory 4.56 car?

3.36's now. Make a great car for the haul. Get's 20 MPG when it runs on 8 cylinders. Thankfully, I figured that out.................loose intake bolts. Cinched it down and wow, no more plug fouling and stops using oil <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif

Pretty photos, where were they all taken? I drove a rental car on my trip to Minocqua and Wisconsin Dells. We flew in from Austin.

Great shots. Looks like a fun event with a manageable number of cars. I haven't been to the Dells in a few decades <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/crazy.gif but I would love to get back up there.

Our group has done a couple of &quot;Fun Runs&quot; over the past two years and have another one scheduled for the end of October. Hoping for clear skies and some Fall Colors.

Well Rick, Lets just say I'm not a very good passenger. She claims I'm a backseat driver and I don't know why she would think that.... Angie was gracious enough to let me drive.

I know that Beth and I had a great time and I trust that the rest of the participants did as well.

We have already planned for some enhancements for next year in order to continue to improve the event.

It was great to see old friends and meet some new ones as well.
