Can you post a pic of it? generally each two char was codes, MJ U2 DI A4 then the date 51 would be the week, the last digit would be the year prior to 2000, then 2 digits would be the year. Are you missing the last digits?

Prior to 2000, it was the last 3. The 2 digits were the week and the last single was the year. For instance, 45 th week and 71, 81, or 91. Again, what tire and a picture?
