I can only tell you that I know it was used in a 1970 Olds 98. Part # 3017166, right?

it has rad tanks like a Camaro fire bird it is a 4 core rad know a 2 row rad I got it with a parts trade

Your XF tank is pretty common after 1970 and was used on the Camaro as well as Chevelle and other A body makes. The IL tank was common on the big block Camaros from '67 to '69. Yours appears to have F body brackets and I haven't found an example of any F body using that combination of tanks. These XF tanks are used on 2 3 and 4 core radiators. The XF was used on some 442s in '68 but the IL in conjunction with the XF tank is not shown in any documents that I have found. The IF is usually installed with the XF. If you could show better pictures of the top rail and the mounting brackets, that might narrow it closer to a specific year. The core width from tank to tank would narrow it to small block or big block. Clint
