I bought this car in 1992. It was a Malibu 307 car. I have never seen an actual Yenko Chevelle, or even a recreation so I made one. Well over 20 years later and a wife and kids, and selling my first classic Harley to buy an M22 Rock crusher, it's almost done.

Looks real nice but, if you ask me; and you didn't, the rims don't really suit the car.

I agree! I did originally type that it is almost complete. Not making 100K here and wife and kids take alot of the resources. LOL I am still looking for a used set of 15" torque thrust wheels. I did however make them look okay in the meantime and I have gotten compliments when approached in person.

Welcome to the site! You did it right being a new guy and including pics with your first posts. Did you take them yourself?
Wheels are great. You can swap a set on for which ever mood you are in. I don't even want to count how many sets I have for my 65. Keep the posts comming.
FYI, if you want to get some huge exposure to high quality real cars, get to the MCACN show one year. Happens to be going on this weekend!

Very nice car, but I agree about the wheels though; get the TTs, a set of Cragar SS's, and either Rally's or SS wheels and switch them up.
If that's the wife, congrats, she's beautiful.

Very nice car. It is nearly exactly like the Yenko Chevelle I bought new. I have a lot of pictures of my car from back in the day.

The car needs torque thrusts. if that's the wife....no modifications necessary.

Why the M22? Yenko Chevelles had M21s for 4 gears.

Great looking Car....I'd enjoy the Heck out of that and be proud of it! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif
FWIW,
Wonder what Don would be putting on cars today? I will bet my a$$ it wouldn't be parts that he installed 40 years ago...Interesting, What would Don have used in 2014 on one of his old cars? Maybe where Joel went with the new Motion cars, todays tech ?? ...Anyhow, I'm sure it would verbose and make a statement just like his cars did in 69!
