Hey guys,

I can't help but share the news. My son Jackson Alexander Booth was born Tuesday, November 19th. He came a month early so my wife and have been living at the hospital since.

He and my wife are happy and healthy, it will just take awhile for him to eat enough on his own, etc. He came in at 6 pounds 4 ounces so it may be a good thing he came early.

I'm a very happy Dad,

Jason

Congrats Jason. You have entered a whole new universe. Things that you thought were important wil not seem as important. Jackson will be the most important thing in your life, and rightfully so! My son will be 19 next month, living at college, and my daughter is 13. Cherish every moment, and take lots of pictures.

Congrats Jason! Everyone says it, but until you live it, they do grow up fast. I have 4 sons and the youngest is a senior in H.S. Doesn't seem possible. We are begging for a granddaughter now! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif

Thanks guys! We were able to bring him home from the hospital on Monday afternoon. The feeding tube is now out and he is acting like a totally different baby. You were not joking out the lack of sleep. My wife and I have been tag teaming the night shifts which helps a lot.

Don't know how I missed this thread back in 2013.
I can honestly say that raising my three kids was the most fun job I ever had.... even though I raised them as a single dad.

Sherri and I have five kids now ranging from 38 down to 22. All good kids. All five (and the two grandsons) come over every other Thursday nite for family dinner. You are in for a challenging but rewarding treat.

Always have fun.
Always be the boss (you and your wife together).
Always love them.
Always be on their side.
Always be positive, but don't be afraid to tell them "NO" or correct them if they are wrong.
Always treat their mother with love and respect.

Best to you and your family.
