They actually did make 2 '83 corvettes (based on the '82 design) before the program was canceled.. Bill Jenkins somehow ended up with one of them.

I don't know if it is still there but they had one at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Ky. It has probably been 15 or more years since I was there.
