View Full Version : Boss 429-Great 1969 8mm footage at Kar Kraft

Video quality is edgy, but the content is killer. This guy had his camera at Kar Kraft Engineering on a day in 1969. Around the facility are a couple of Boss 302's and 429's sporting mixtures of '69 and '70 styling features, the rear engine Boss 429 (Toronado transaxle, no back window just slats) the custom yellow Talladega with 15" Magnums and bucket seats that many of you saw at MCACN a couple years ago, a street GT40, etc. Finally, you can see "assembly line" footage of '69 Boss 429's being built. Oh for a way-back machine......

A friend of mine worked there in 69 and drove that mid-engine Boss. Let's just say he has some very interesting stories. One of them was he went to the local filling station to fill the car. He asked the attendant to check the oil.....
