being totaled on Camaro5?

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=333504

The story made the yahoo autos front page. For the life of me I cannot see why the dealer did not just make it right?

They still will not divulge whom the second person was in the car....

Apparently not in that state. Since the person whom took the car from the dealership was an employee, and the car was not under John's control at the time, the police are stating that they cannot charge him with anything meaningful?

This is the exact reason i have the "full tort" option on my insurance, it costs double the $$$ but cuts thru all this b.s and gives u way more financial options when in need ..

Scott,

I am not aware of this "full tort" option that you have on your insurance. Would you enlighten me or us as to what this is all about?
Thanks for helping me understand it.

Basically it gives u the right to sue for any pain and suffering involved and your insurance co reimburses u right off the bat.Ask your ins co about it .

The insurance laws and laws in general are not exactly the same for every State. What will apply in one may not apply in another.

Looks like Berger chevy and GM are working a deal to get hooper a new ZL1, although it will be delivered to the dealership that trashed his old car.

Berger at least seems to know the value of customer service and public perception.

Page 53 has Johns update on the camaro 5 thread.
