Beautiful car in a great color - honeycombs are not original though, right? Shouldn't it have hubcaps?

Had rally II wheels on it when i got it. You could get any wheel you want i believe.

This is a really cool car Don. I'll bet it can cause a lot of havoc for the tires! A perfect candidate for Pure Stock Drags. IMO

Another neat Pontiac, Don. I suppose the only thing limiting wheel availability would have been clearance issues with the fender skirts standard on all Luxury LeMans. I would imagine the Rally II's were 6" wide while the Honeycombs are 7"? (correct me if I'm wrong.) Again, good luck.

saw the car in person today. A rare car with tons of muscle!

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe the 14"x6" honeycombs were an A-Body item while the 15"x7" were for F-Bodies.

FWIW, a '72 WW5 optioned GTO could also get 15" Honey's.

I think Donny put them on because he liked them. Makes the car look even better in my opinion.

Looks great Don...here's what makes this car go! Kept the car under the radar in the 70's with the gas crunch and those dang insurance companys that put the high premiums on anything with SS or numbers on the fenders.

Yeah as you can see ive got a little detailing to do under the hood. Im not going to crazy though cause its a driver to me. The Honey's are 14x7,they never made a 6 inch honeycomb and yes you could get 15x7 wheels if you ordered them. just not on a convertible for some strange reason. Took some more pics today when Sam and Dave were Here. These two cars should stay together!! best of both worlds if you like 72'shttp://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2014/01/full-887-9403-004.jpg
