I have gotten myself into something and not quite sure what to do next. I purchased a 1964 cabover Ford Coke truck with 120 case of filled embossed Coke bottles. It was restored by the owner of a local Coke distributor about 20-25 years ago, he passed about 10-12 years ago and it was walled up in a building and left there since. It should not be a major issue to get it back going after I tear out the wall. My question is what next? lol It's terrible to get bored, things happen like this around my house a little more than they should.

Get in touch with the marketing department at Coca-Cola...bet they'd be interested in using it in a commercial....?

You can tell this was in the seventies its the second from the left. They just weren't cloning 64 Coke trucks back then, so yes Mr.70 it does appear to be "The Real Thing"

Bring it to an AACA National Meet, they have a class for commerical vehicles of this type and the people will love it!! There is one held in conjunction with the Charlotte Auto Fair in April.

I have some buddies that go to Charlotte every year, I may try and get it going in time to go,

Got it out last Friday. I put in gas, aired up tires, added brake fluid, put in a battery and filed the points. Fired up after 16 years and drove 12 miles home!
Nice.
Can we see an overall photo of it at a few different angles?

Congrats and waaay cool also gotta love the old bottles jingling sound as you drive!
As I mentioned once in a past thread, a few years ago a guy was telling me about an Coca-Cola Truck he found in a field up here somewhere.
What's cool is he found a couple thin storage compartments between the body and cab or underneath somewhere...opening them up he pulled out a few old Nos Coke signs!
Doesn't look like any secret stash spots in the pics of this truck but look carefully also at any dead service or old gas trucks you ever see!
