Anyone ever seen something like this before? I kind of dig them. http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics/usergals/2014/02/full-14199-9595-z28_valve_covers.jpg

That style valve cover shows up with lots of different badges, decals and embossed wording from time to time. They are great valve covers with one major exception. The holes for the breather and pcv are located directly above the rocker arm which means lots of oil vapor into the breather and into the pcv valve if you drill the hole for it. Most have small studs underneath that you can use to drill and tap and install a plate if one isn't there already. I recently modified a set for my pcv system. GM valve covers have the holes directly inline with the 4 bolt holes but all the aftermarket (the cheap ones at least) have the holes just to the outside of that.

Just like the M/T ones. I always considered it a huge flaw.

I have a set of these also, some of these were sold through JC Penneys as the A/FX brand, that is how mine are marked.

These are very cool.
