Stumbled across this. There are a few things to nitpick (has some style trim, but not all, should have left the flat hood and not installed spoilers) but overall a pretty nice looking restored Z.

Close to you Jacquie. Maybe you should go look at it, even if it isn't a Chevelle. I know Glenn wants you to get another car.

Doesn't that pic from 1971 show a ZL2 hood?

Kinda looks like a cowl hood in the 1971 pic, hard to make out, might be a visual illusion with the stripes.

The car is from my neck of the woods, wonder if it has original sheetmetal. Buildsheet is in a lot better shape than my LA Z so it may have been garaged most of it's life. Lot of rain and moisture in that region.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought only Norwood cars had the PTB stamps.

Missing the center brace for the front spoiler, no factory hole for the bolt that holds that brace. Obviously not a D80 car from the factory.

Wonder why they didn't install shark gills along with the rest of the trim. Definitely doesn't have any of it in the 1971 pic.

Other stuff is an easy fix. Enough nit-picking, looks like a really nice car, course I'm a sucker for Lemans Blue. Nice restoration.

That may be a ZL2 hood in the 1971 pic. I was thinking it was an earlier car than it is, so perhaps it came with the ducted hood. Either way, like I said, just small stuff to nit pick. I like it.

It's a lot closer to me than you think Lynn... like in the garage close. LOL.

I'll go ahead and address some of the comments. As said, the PTB stamp shouldn't be there. I've received more complaints about that than anything. It will probably wipe right off, and I should have done that myself before I took photos. There is full owner history on the car all the way back to the original owner. The original owner says the car did not come with the spoiler or trim. There is a photo from when he owned the car showing that it did have the endura bumper but no trim and no spoiler. But the photo supplied from the 2nd owner shows that they have been added, so apparently the 2nd owner is the one who added the trim and spoiler. It did not come with the cowl hood, nor do the photos from the 2nd owner show it to have the cowl hood, so that was either added by the 2nd owner after the photos were taken or by a susequent owner. The car has the original sheet metal. The interior, including the drivers seat, is original and you can tell the car has been well taken care of and never rusty.

Don't want to turn this into a for sale ad, just wanted to address what was commented on here. I got the car in a package deal and if it was a 66 or 67 Chevelle it wouldn't be going anywhere! But I need Chevelle money, so this Camaro is going to have to go. It really is a great car... No issues with the numbers or buildsheet or history. One of you guys needs to buy it! <<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/laugh.gif

Wow, Jacquie, now I am glad I said I like it. Not that my opinion makes any diff. Just didn't know your ebay handle.

Everything can be easily corrected. Best of luck with the sale.

"But I need Chevelle money, so this Camaro is going to have to go." I love it. If you weren't such a fine lady, we could come up with a new nickname for you.

Hey, don't worry about making it a for sale ad. I'm the one that brought it up.

One of the better Ebay ads with clear pictures and descriptions of all the relevant components. Wish all Sellers took the time to present their cars so nicely. Beautiful car and sure it will sell quickly.
