This email originated from Jim Gessner, but I received it from another member of this site. I had dinner with Jack in November at the MCACN show. I'm sorry to hear this news.


Jack's wife Keren was killed this morning in a freak accident. She fell down a long flight of stairs at Philadelphia airport. Jack called me a 7AM Pacific from Phoenix airport. He was on his way home when he was greeted by US Air personal and told 20 minutes before. He is on his way back to Philadelphia as I write this. Updates as I get them.

----Jacks wife, Keren was one of Jan's closest friends on earth! We, of course, are just so so sorry and devastated for Jacks loss. Anybody that ever went to either Bloomington Gold or Corvette Carlisle and bought anything from Jan and I probably had some interaction with Keren as she worked with us for the whole twenty years we did all the BG licensed products. She was just a joy to know and had one of the best senses of humor on the face of the planet. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jack. Rest in peace, Keren. We love you!!!!........Bill S
