Is there a way from just the Hemi engine to tell what the hemi block came out of. The Vin number on the block looks to be 0G 168166 but it is a double stamp. The hemi still has the heads, intake, carbs and exhaust manifolds. Here is a photo:

Are there any Orphan Sites to help and unite Hemi cars with Hemi engines?

Thanks,
Al in Maine

You might have more success in the Mopar forum.

List it on Moparts.com in the A12 forum, someone there should be able to help.

1970 Hemi B-body built in St. Louis (G) (so GTX, Road Runner, Coronet RT, Super Bee, Charger, )

Cudas and Challengers were not built in the St. louis plant - G Code

put it on the Lost and Found page at moparts.org. Lots of eyes there, I can post it up over there if you want as I am a member. Is there an asking price?

I concur. 1970, St Louis installed B-Body engine from the "G" in the partial VIN. BTW, St. Louis was the only plant building Chargers in 1970.
